RNZAF P-51D Mustang TAF No.4 Sqdn Otago

RNZAF P51-D Mustang of N0.4 squadron Territorial Air Force (Otago) high over the clouds. Shipped from the US on the "Dominion Park" and received at the Aircraft Assembly Depot Hobsonville on 27 August 1945. Removed from storage and activated in August 1951. To No.4 (Otago) TAF Squadron 06 September 1951. Force landed on beach at Raumai after power loss on bombing run on 27 February 1953.
